This Privacy Policy explains how MyMeTime ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and application. By using MyMeTime, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Account information: name and email address when you sign up or sign in (including through Google or Apple).
  • Content you create: companions you create and customize within the app, and your conversations with them.
  • Usage data: basic information about how you use the app, used to improve our service.
  • Device information: device type and notification tokens, used to deliver app features.
  • Payment and order information: when you buy coins or a subscription we record the order number, item, amount, payment method type (for example "FPX" or "Card"), the transaction identifiers returned by our payment provider, the date and time, and the IP address and browser or device identifier used for the purchase (for fraud prevention). We never receive or store your card number, CVV or online-banking login.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the app's features.
  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process your purchases, credit coins, activate subscriptions and issue refunds.
  • Send transactional emails and notifications: payment receipts, refund notices, and subscription expiry reminders (if you keep the reminder switched on).
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and duplicate accounts.
  • Improve and maintain the app.
  • Send important notifications related to the service.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers that help us operate the app, or when required by law:

  • HitPay Payment Solutions — our payment processor. To process a purchase we send HitPay your name, email address, the amount and our order number. HitPay collects your card or bank details directly on its own secure pages under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Firebase — authentication, push notifications and cloud services.
  • Google and Apple — sign-in services, if you choose them.
  • Our email delivery provider, to send receipts and notifications.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Payment confirmations from HitPay are verified server-to-server with signed messages before any purchase is activated. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

5. Data Retention

Account and content data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after account deletion. Payment and order records are retained for up to 7 years after the transaction to meet accounting, tax and dispute obligations, even if you delete your account; personal fields in those records are minimised where possible.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information as part of their functionality, including Google and Apple sign-in, cloud services provided by Google Firebase, and payment processing by HitPay. These services have their own privacy policies.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. You can also delete your account from within the app. You can switch off subscription reminder emails from the subscription page; receipts and refund notices are sent for every transaction as a legal record.

8. Children's Privacy

MyMeTime is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
